Questions about the test for foreign medical graduates

Accreditation, permit of residence, Swedish language, licensing, specialist training, et cetera.

Hello Nils,

Thank you so much for this information. I have so many questions if you happen to know the answer since I'm still studying Swedish and can't understand all. After passing the theoretical part, what is the deadline to pass the practical part, do we have to pass it immediatelly? Is there any preparation programme for this test?
How many practical cases there are to test? Do we apply to pass it only at Umeå university? Also, does it cost to apply for this exam?
Thanks!

Since I received the response from the university here it is: You have two years to complete both tests. So depending on how long you need for the theoretical test the time to take the practical part can vary. The two years starts counting from when you take your first test. There is no course or anything like that. We have information, movies and studymaterial on our courseweb. You can take part of that once you have applied on our web http://www.kunskapsprov.umu.se/Anm%A4la ... skapsprov/. We have alot of practical cases to test. The language is tested separately. But we strongly recommend that you know Swedish (both to speak and write) before you take the test.
